The Name "THEHOUROF" originates from a project he pursued at
the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, in 1999. Through the creation of
a fictional milita, with no identifable ideology, he hoped to comment
on issues as vast as underground social systems, fringe aesthetics, marginal
lifestyles and wires. This work was misinterpreted by those who like to
be 'offended.' A couple of narrow minded students complained about a performance
and he was asked to explain it to the dean. After a 10 minute chat, the
dust had cleared, the complaints were discredited, but his relationship
with academia was forever ruined.
